Hello everyone, the next meeting will be on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM. The place will be the Longbranch Hotel & Restaurant & Convention Center. See their website from more info and directions.

It is located off 1st Ave sort of behind Bed, Bath & Beyond. We hope to welcome some new people from the Amana beer & cheese event, discuss the National Homebrew Conference, share results of the Baltic Porter club competition, draw styles for the new year, and many other topics.

All, as usual I’m trying to get an agenda posted before our Thursday meetings as I want everyone a chance to chime in on any other additional items we need to touch upon. My apologies I didn’t get this out with more notice things have been unusually hectic.


- Welcome any new folks
- Dues, if you have not paid your dues, please bring $20 for our annual dues. If you forget, please make arrangements with our Treasurer Jim (potsy)
- A grain order has been placed and is now available, payment and scheduled pickup need to be determined.
- Overview of the Millstream Event, short feedback session from those who contributed.
- Reminder for the club Pyment competition, I’m planning on entering this one so someone will need to volunteer to host this, I can help coordinate.
- Determine styles for remainder of 2010 and early 2011, we pulled from a hat last time, we can discuss an alternative plan if anyone has one.
- Discuss/brainstorm next club event, ie: big brew, beer camp, brewery visit etc.
- Also, please only post meeting information under the meeting Forum topic, and events under events etc. We have lots of misc. threads under meetings. If it relates to an upcoming meeting please post it under that thread and not make a new one. If we need more forums to better manage this please let Potsy or I know.
- BYO orders have been placed, I don't expect new subscribers to have recieved anything yet but please let me know if you don't see anything in the next month. Also realize this is a bi-monthly subscription.
