DaveR is going, and I think Jim Potts too. I'm trying to get a ticket at a reasonable price, so if I'm successful I'll go too. Do you already have a ticket?
Also, don't forget we're having our own little celebration called BEER CAMP!!! the next weekend (21-22nd). See the other thread for details. _________________ Randy Carris

Most of the times I've been, there have been people in the line with extra tickets to sell, usually at face value. Not sure I'd want to make the trip and hope to get a ticket that way, though. I'd check Madison craigslist, too. Good luck. From my somewhat fuzzy memories, it's a good time.

There are bunch of preparties Friday night. Here's the sign for the Maduro one:
Also heard that Shelton Brothers/Jolly Pumpkin will be at Brasserie V, Lagunitas will be at the Haze, Central Waters and Short's at Brickhouse BBQ, O'so Brewing Co at the Malt House, and Flying Dog at Dexter's.
Here's a list of the beers that supposed to be at Brickhouse BBQ:

Another preparty, Furthermore at Vintage Brewing Co.
The great people (and great beer!) of Furthermore Brewing will be joining us at Vintage Brewing Co. Friday night 8-13-10 for a GTMW pre-party. We'll be pouring their entire portfolio (and perhaps a surprise or two), with brewmaster Aran Madden on hand for the festivities. For those who don't know Furthermore, theirs are some of the most intriguing and best beers around: "Thermo Refur" sour ale brewed with red beets, "Knot Stock" pale ale brewed with cracked black pepper, "Oscura" coffee infused Mexican dark lager...to name but a few. We at Vintage are big fans and are very excited to share the stage. |

Travis, if you are serious about going for Friday night I'd be interested in going too. _________________ Randy Carris

Actually I checked my schedule and I leave out of town sat. morning, so no go, but If I wasn’t I so would be going.. luv the Friday night party.. usually hurting too much to fully appreciate the great taste the next day.
It might be hard to find lodging downtown by now anyways… I usually book my room almost a year in advance.

I have a pair of tickets available. Someone backed out on me. I'll sell them for face value ($40 each). First response gets them. I may have another pair as well, stay tuned

I'll take at least one of those two tickets. I'm trying to see if I can still get a dd ticket so my could go too. If not I may take the second ticket. _________________ Randy Carris
